How can I tell if my Lowrance Fish Finder is Broken?
I visually inspected it and everything looks good. The problem is that it marks way to many fish. I was in 4 feet of vrystal clear water (no weeds) over sand and the fish finder was displaying fish after fish. Lookin ginto the water nothing was there. I adjusted sensity up and down and it still shows fish.
Its an internal error, its just because it is old...try updating to a newer version, also if the internals are really messed up my X-15 just said "System Corrupt" so I bought a new HDIS-5 I think it was for $725
