Best inexpensive fishfinder for shipwrecks?
Exploring a bay area on a small boat with known shipwrecks and would like to buy an inexpensive fish finder and looking for opinions from fisherman. I assume some sort of side scan option and maybe something like a Hummingbird Fishin Buddy but I've never used one so not sure if they are any good for this type of use or should I look at something else?
my hummingbird is total crap and has gone from erratic readings to an overpriced depth finder.the company has not returned a single email,hmm shoulda bought a lowrance.i think the transponder/reciever died at less than 4 months old.i havent been able to find the reciept but since i bought it at academy with a credit card,that should be enough proof of purchase right?anyway i borrowed another head to see.
