LAVONIA, Ga - The Walmart Bass Fishing League is headed to Lake Hartwell April 30 for the fourth of five stops in the Savannah River Division. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $9,500 and $3,000, respectively.

Ninety-nine of the most talented anglers in bass fishing-representing 27 states and one foreign country-are headed to West Point Lake near LaGrange, Ga., for one of America's premier fishing competitions, May 5-8.

WHAT: Boater David Millsaps of Ranger, Ga., caught a five-bass limit weighing 15 pounds April 16 to win $4,119 in the BFL Bulldog Division tournament on Lake Sinclair. He was using spinnerbaits in stained water about 3 to 5 feet deep.
