WHAT: Boater Joel Trovillion of Grantsburg, Ill., caught a five-bass limit weighing 18 pounds, 3 ounces, April 16 to win $5,426 in the BFL LBL Division tournament on Kentucky/Barkley lakes. He was using crankbaits to haul in his catch.

Epperson Wins Bass Fishing League Mountain Division On Lake Cumberland

WHAT: Boater Doyle Epperson of Nancy, Ky., caught a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 4 ounces, April 16 to win $4,046 in the BFL Mountain Division tournament on Lake Cumberland. He was fishing with swimbaits on the main lake to haul in is catch.

Ethridge Wins Central Division EverStart Event | Lowrance fish finders.

GILBERTSVILLE, KY- Jeremy Ethridge of Nashville, Tennessee, weighed three bass totaling 9 pounds, 14 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Central Division event presented by Mercury on Kentucky/Barkley lakes with a three-day total of 13 bass weighing 60 pounds, 15 ounces. For his victory, Ethridge earned $32,913.

Kentucky Duo Takes King Kat Tournament – Fish finders.

This past Saturday March 19, 2011 the Cabela's King Kat Tournament Trail hit the waters of the Pickwick/Wilson Lakes at Sheffield, Alabama where over 100 anglers from 13 different states were competing for $9,000.00 in cash and prizes, along with the opportunity to qualify for the 2011 Cabela's King Kat Classic. This year's Cabela's King Kat Classic will be held on the Mississippi River at Burlington, Iowa, October 27-28-29, 2011.

Citing Gas Prices, PAA Drops Registration Penalty :- Lowrance fish finders.

BENTON, KY- Due to the rising cost of gas prices and financial impacts on tournament anglers, the PAA will waive its registration late fee for its 2011 Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series events.

"Tournament anglers are facing more financial costs this season on all the circuits due to the increase in prices for gas and diesel fuel," said PAA President Chad Morgenthaler. "We are waiving the tournament registration late fee as a goodwill gesture to help the pros experiencing these added costs for fuel at a time when entry fees and deposits are due for events."
